(UPDATE) THE Roman Catholic Church has elevated two parochial churches in Manila to the rank of archdiocesan shrine.
Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro Parish (NSPS) in Sampaloc and San Vicente de Paul Parish (SVPP) in Ermita were elevated to the rank of archdiocesan shrine in a decree issued by Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jose Advincula.
