ECONOMIC growth is unlikely to fall below 7 percent this year but a 6.5-percent result will not come as a surprise, Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno said on Wednesday.
"We are expecting a growth rate of at least 7 percent this year. It might slow down maybe to about 6.5 [percent] but that is still one of the strongest growth rates in the world," Diokno said at a Kapihan sa Manila Bay briefing.
