San Miguel dumps Meralco, ends elims as 5th seed

San Miguel Beer broke the game wide open behind an explosive second-quarter scoring rampage as the Beermen dumped the Meralco Bolts, 113-108 to close the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on a winning note at the close of the elimination round on Friday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

With import Devon Scott, Jericho Cruz and Marcio Lassiter leading the way, the Beermen stepped on the gas and lit up the scoreboard en route to a 70-50 lead at the game's halfway mark.
