(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has called on Filipino ambassadors to promote and protect the Philippine interests and foster partnerships with all our neighbors "whether or not they are friendly."

During a courtesy call of the newly appointed ambassadors in Malacañang on Thursday, the President reminded them to keep good relations with the Philippines' allies while upholding the country's independent foreign policy and interests.
