SENATE Committee on Sports chairman Sen. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go co-authored a proposed measure granting Filipino citizenship to Justin Brownlee in an effort to tap him as a naturalized player for the Philippine men's basketball team or Gilas Pilipinas.
Brownlee's eligibility to play for Gilas Pilipinas will be facilitated by Senate Bill 1336, which will grant him Filipino citizenship, if enacted.
