SAN MIGUEL Global Power (SMGP), through subsidiary South Premiere Power Corp. (SPPC), said it has made initial discussions with the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) to make the full capacity of its Ilijan natural gas facility available for a fraction of its capital cost.
This initiative will help keep electricity prices as low as possible for consumers, while ensuring steady supply of power in the coming months. SMGP is a unit of San Miguel Corp. (SMC).
