Top seed Bay Area played true to form, dominated eighth-seeded Rain or Shine from start to finish and scored an emphatic 126-96 victory on Friday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City to advance in the best-of-five semifinal series of the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
With Australian guard Hayden Blankley and Canadian import Andrew Nicholson leading the way, the Dragons zoomed to an 11-point lead in the opening frame. They extended their lead to 85-51 midway in the third quarter on the way to scoring a wire-to-wire win in their quarterfinals duel.
