SAN AGUSTIN, Isabela: Through the Industry Development Division, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) has been conducting trainings to boost the cacao industry in the region.

According to Manilyn Ponce, DTI-2 information officer, the Skills Training on Cacao Bean Grading and Sensory Analysis aims to improve the skills of cacao farmers and processors through lectures and actual exercises on cacao bean sorting and grading, cut testing, and sensory evaluation.
