JERICHO Bañares of Antipolo outplayed Yves Cabrito of Valenzuela to reign supreme in the Battle for Supremacy: Sharks Invitational 10-ball Billiards Championship held last weekend at the state-of-the-art Sharks Billiards and Pool Arena in Diliman, Quezon City.
Popularly known as "Panday" in the pool community and the county's third ranked player, Bañares made a decisive runout at the hill to defeat Cobrito,19-13, in the race-to-19 finale.
