THE Philippines and China agreed to work on enhancing digital and data cooperation during President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s state visit to the People's Republic of China earlier this week.

In a statement, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Secretary Ivan John Uy for the Philippines and by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Minister Jin Zhuanglong for China.
