TRADE security and facilitation between the Philippines and China is expected to improve further following the signing of an agreement between the Bureau of Customs (BoC) and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.

Customs Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz said on Monday that the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on the Authorized Economic Operator Program (AEO) he signed with Chinese Minister of Customs Yu Jianhua is a partnership pursued globally by customs administrations to bolster trade facilitation.
