Maynilad to provide rebates for Putatan service interruptions

MAYNILAD Water Services Inc. said it would issue rebates to customers affected by prolonged water interruptions in part of its concession area.

Based on investigations conducted by the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System's Regulatory Office (MWSS-RO) into prolonged water service interruptions that have affecting customers served by the Putatan Water Treatment Plants (PWTP) since Dec. 20, 2022, Maynilad was found to have violated its service obligation of ensuring the availability of uninterrupted 24-hour water supply within the PWTP supply zone.
