TRANSPORTATION Secretary Jaime Bautista on Thursday said that he will push for the comprehensive modernization of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) through acquisition of assets and equipment, as well as the upgrade of officers' training to world-class standard.
"The Transportation department will always support the continued modernization of the Coast Guard. We will continue to help the Coast Guard in pursuing their comprehensive modernization program," Bautista said during the annual PCG New Year's Call.
