WITH the continued easing of restrictions in the country after two years of strict health protocols, upland Cavite tourist business is back with estimated tourist arrivals reaching up to 1 million in 2022.

Tagaytay City and the localities of Silang, Amadeo, Mendez and Alfonso have tourist spots and very good weather conditions even in the summer season. Tagaytay City is known for destinations such as Palace in the Sky or Peoples Park in the Sky in Barangay Dapdap East, Picnic Grove in Barangay Sungay East and Skyranch Theme Park in Barangay Kaybagal South. The city is also renowned for its delicious dishes such as bulalo (Filipino beef marrow stew) and crispy fried tawilis (Filipino freshwater sardine).
