Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will open new routes and resume others as it gears up for a tourism recovery this year.

At the Philippine Tourism Agency Association's first general meeting of the year, PAL Assistant Vice President for Passenger Sales Marissa Dimaano said that in 2023, the airline planned to restart flights to Guangzhou and Xiamen while establishing a Manila-Perth, Australia route.
