(UPDATE) THE Bureau of Corrections said on Wednesday it will file plunder charges against suspended BuCor director general Gerald Bantag for the alleged anomalous construction of P300 million worth of facilities in four provincial penitentiaries.
3BuCor Officer in Charge Gregorio Catapang Jr. said he will tap the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) to trace the disbursement of the P1 billion fund that Bantag used to construct facilities in Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm in Palawan, Davao Prison and Penal Farm, Leyte Regional Farm, and Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City.
