PLDT Inc., formerly known as Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co., is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the Philippines. It provides a wide range of telecommunications services including fixed-line telephone, mobile phone, internet and data services.

The company operates through several business segments, the two major segments of which are cellular telephony and fixed-line telephony. The wireless segment provides mobile telecommunications services under the brand name Smart Communications, while the fixed-line segment provides landline and broadband internet services under the brand name PLDT Home.
