ASTARA Philippines started 2023 big by adding GAC to its automotive brand portfolio and launching two new vehicles to add to their current lineup — the Empow sports sedan and the GS8 SUV.
GAC Philippines is also headed now by Redentor "Jun" Cajayon, formerly the general manager for AC Motors' Maxus brand in the Philippines. Hence, the Empow and GS8 are the first vehicles to be launched under his management although both were previewed in the Manila International Auto Show last year.
