PIAT, Cagayan: The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) has denounced the killing of a barangay (village) official in this town saying that the commission stands with the family in their search for justice.
According to CHR Region 2 (Cagayan Valley), the killing of Richard Biraquit, 57, barangay chairman of Sto. Domingo village in this town is a "brazen and arbitrary deprivation of a person's right to life [that] affronts human dignity and rights."]
