My front-page neighbor and good friend Rigoberto "Bobi" Tiglao has made it necessary for me to write this column. On Wednesday (Feb. 1, 2023), Bobi asked whether the President's first lady, Mrs. Liza Araneta-Marcos (LAM to those close to her), had anything to do with the reported sacking of Philstar's hard-hitting columnist Ramon Tulfo after posting on Facebook that Martin Araneta, LAM's younger brother, was allegedly involved in "smuggling onions in the piers."
LAM reportedly blew her top when she saw the post, and Tulfo immediately lost his column.
