THE Rachid Karami International Fair (RKIF) located in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli has been officially inscribed on the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) World Heritage List and List of World Heritage in Danger, Lebanon's Council of Ministers said Wednesday.
"This is a special achievement for Lebanon and all the Lebanese, and primarily for the city of Tripoli. We are proud of the presence of this architectural masterpiece on its land," the Council of Ministers said in a statement.
