NPA landmine kills Army officer in Albay

LEGAZPI CITY: A junior officer of the Philippine Army was killed while three other soldiers were wounded from a landmine detonated by the New People's Army (NPA) in Barangay Ramay, Oas town in Albay, the Army's 9th Infantry Division (9ID) reported.

Capt. Frank Roldan, 9ID spokesman, said that the casualty was identified as 2Lt. Nico Malcampo of the 49th Infantry Battalion.
