THE Philippine National Police (PNP) is determining if police officers were involved in the killing of Vice Mayor Rommel Alameda of Aparri, Cagayan, in Nueva Vizcaya last Sunday.

PNP chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. told reporters on Monday that witnesses claimed that the gunmen who attacked Almeda and his five companions were masked and wore camouflage police uniforms.
