Anti-corruption group probes PNP generals first

SENIOR officers holding key positions in the Philippine National Police (PNP) will be the first to be assessed by the five-man committee that will filter the courtesy resignations of the third-level officials in the organization.

PNP chief information officer Col. Redrico Maranan said this was agreed upon during the initial meetings of the five members of the committee, since these positions are relevant to the internal cleansing process in the police organization.
