THAT is the hashtag of a video in Thailand that swept that Asean country last Wednesday. A Filipino friend who lives in Bangkok sent me the video. It showed a Thai man passing through the X-ray scanner at Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, a female Filipino officer stealing a fistful of P500 bills from his bag, and putting the money quickly in the bag of another male Filipino officer.
Fortunately, a Thai woman behind the unsuspecting Thai passenger had seen everything. She activated her iPad and took a video clip of the incident. The Thai man checked his bag and cried that someone had stolen his money. The Thai woman showed him the video she had just taken. He went back to the X-ray area and told the officers about his stolen money. The female officer said, with a stony face, that there was no CCTV there.
