CEBU Pacific on Friday claimed to have retained its position as the country's top domestic carrier with a 57-percent market share last year, up 5 percentage points from before the pandemic.

Citing Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) data, the airline said it flew close to 13.5 million domestic passengers in 2022, up 312 percent from the previous year, in strong recovery in both capacity and passenger traffic.
