(UPDATED) IN the aftermath of winless stints by San Miguel Beer and TNT in the recent East Asia Super League (EASL) Champions Week, PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said the pro league intends to come up with a more organized and prepared system in future EASL tournaments.
Marcial admitted that the Beermen and Tropang Giga, who finished 1-2 in the 2022-23 PBA Philippine Cup, didn't have much time to prepare for the weeklong tournament held in Utsunomiya and Okinawa, Japan last week.
