BIÑAN, Laguna: A five-year partnership between the United States government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAid) and Unilab Foundation was launched here on Monday, March 13, to train Filipino workers to meet the evolving requirements of the high-tech manufacturing sector.

The US Embassy in Manila noted that the USAid and Unilab Foundation through Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Development Alliance (AMDev) aims to enhance the skills and resilience of the Philippine workforce and invested no less than P622 million ($10.6 million) for the joint initiative.
