EIGHT United Nations agencies on Tuesday published a new report aimed at helping countries address chronic food insecurity and nutrition crises across Europe and Central Asia, made worse by the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

The "Regional Overview of Food Security and Nutrition in Europe and Central Asia 2022" report is a joint effort by the Food and Agriculture Organization; International Fund for Agricultural Development fund; the UN Children's Fund; the UN Development Program; the UN Economic Commission for Europe; the World Food Program; the World Health Organization; and the World Meteorological Organization.
