PHILIPPINE National Bank (PNB), a subsidiary of the LT Group of Companies led by tobacco and airline tycoon Lucio Tan, registered a 63-percent decline in net income to P11.6 billion in 2022 from P31.69 billion a year ago.

PNB had reported a one-off gain coming from the properties-for-shares swap transaction in 2021, which significantly increased that year's results.
