IT is possible to increase the rollout share of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country to 10 percent from the mandated 5 percent, according to Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian.
This, as the Department of Energy (DoE) is currently conducting public consultation on the Comprehensive Roadmap for the Electric Vehicle Industry (Crevi) with the agency pushing for the increase in the rollout share of EVs in the country from 5 percent to 10 percent as mandated under Republic Act 11697, or the "Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act."
