CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: The massive oil spill in the province continues to wreak havoc to residents here as the city government placed 23 coastal villages under a state of calamity.
In a post on her social media page on Saturday March 25, 2023, Mayor Malou Morillo said that the city government is "placing 23 barangay (villages) under a state of calamity after the oil spill from the sunken MT Princess Empress reached the locality last week."
