Harness huge potential of PH maritime sector

THE government has a roadmap for unlocking the economic potential of the maritime sector. Unfortunately, executing plans has not been a strong suit of Filipinos. Of course, having a relatively new government renews hopes. But if the Marcos administration is to get the most out of the country's water resources, the first step may be developing new thinking that places maritime concerns ahead of other national priorities.
