THE trough or extension of a low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has brought rain in Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.
"It is bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao but the weather disturbance has a slim chance to develop into a tropical depression," weather forecaster Obet Badrina said.
