THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) announced on Wednesday that through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center and the Philippine Embassy in Malaysia, it signed an agreement to join the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Micci) last April 11 for potential business opportunities and expansion.

Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Charles Jose explained that this was made possible by the recent visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim last month.
