ONE of the most exhilarating things I read recently was the question the President posed to his wife, Liza Araneta-Marcos, on their 30th wedding anniversary, "Will you marry me again?" Needless to say, the answer was a great and resounding "yes."

It was the highest compliment the President could pay his wife. It was also the highest tribute the highest official of the land could pay to the value of marriage.
