(UPDATE) THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has shut down a private sector-run orphanage in Quezon City in alleged violation of Republic Act 7610 or the "Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination" for its failure to meet safety and living standards.
