Palay prices up in February

The following regions posted annual increases in the average farmgate prices of palay during February ― Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Soccsksargen and Caraga.

Of these regions, Eastern Visayas posted the highest annual increment at 25.7 percent.
