THE peso rebounded on Friday and returned to P55:$1 territory, but the stock market dropped anew to near the 6,500 level.
The currency strengthened by 27 and half centavos to P55.79 against the dollar while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) shed 30.02 points or 0.46 percent to end the week at 6,530.20.
