DESPITE being a new College of Law of the University of Caloocan City (UCC), it had reason to celebrate with its seven students passing the 2022 Bar examinations.

Elated by the result, Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, rewarded a total of P1-million cash incentive for the new lawyers from the college.

A testimonial ceremony was held at the Bulwagang Katipunan, City Hall-South where the mayor, key city officials and employees came to congratulate the UCC's successful Bar examinees.

The awardees were Verona Baladad, Roland Gregory Dictado, Misha Ela Ferrer, Rodrigo Manluctao Jr., Morris James Masalihit, Rey Martin Palisoc and Maria Lyra Valdez.

Malapitan told the seven Bar passers that the city government is open to working with them toward making Caloocan more competitive and progressive.

He reiterated his call on them to help the city.

The mayor noted that UCC has been recognized as the Top 3 law school for those with 10 or fewer takers in the recent Bar examinations.
