THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is looking at a possible partnership with global conservation organization World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to boost efforts in preserving the country's rich biological diversity and protecting threatened species amid climate change.

In her keynote speech at the 2023 WWF Annual Conference held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan on May 25, Environment Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga called on the WWF to work with the DENR on innovative approaches for corporate social responsibilities through the adoption of spatial finance.
