THE World Bank announced it approved the $176-million Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency Project (Fishcore) to improve the management of the country's fishery and coastal resources.
Fishcore seeks to address the problems in the fishery sector such as declining catch, high postharvest losses and high poverty incidence among the fishing communities.
