Part 2 – DAAD studies and training awards

OFFSHORES studies and training provide an awardee life lessons and exposure to varied cultures. Besides the learning and skills gained, you would have a grand time, especially if you balance study and leisure. Last Thursday's (May 25) write-up described what further studies and training courses are, and that need-based awards are more referred to as grants, differing from scholarships which are more merit-based. Awarding organizations are present in countries where they have their respective countries' embassies. Their presence is expressed or implied in bilateral agreements their respective governments have forged with ours. If you are abroad, try applying to such organizations there. Studies offshores provide us with a rich cultural experience. Having batchmates from different countries, visiting places on weekends, experiencing the sheer beauty of the country — are memories that stay with us for a lifetime. Sharing with you about a nonprofit organization in our country, my awards and learning gains speckled with pleasant experiences.
