PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday denied that the Philippines has shifted its policy away from China toward other powers despite the two countries' "innate differences."

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the awarding ceremony of the Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding, Marcos stressed that Manila's relations with Beijing include the "continuing search to find solution to the challenges that we face jointly with China."
