'Likha 2' — the first lady's promise kept

FIRST lady Marie Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos fulfilled her promise to support the dwindling yet determined traditional Filipino artisans anew as she officially opened the second edition of "Likha" at the SMX Aura Convention Center Friday night.

A project under the Office of the First Lady, Likha is an artisanal exhibit that not only celebrates traditional Filipino craftsmanship but actively paves the way for this rich culture and noble livelihood to endure by bridging the artists and their precious handiwork with designers, traders, manufacturers, tourists and the general public.
