THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) has implemented the Noise Code for Philippine-registered ships on international voyages to reduce noise levels and protect seafarers from excessive exposure.

This regulation is aligned with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Resolution MSC.337 and Solas amendments.
