FOURTEEN schools in Taguig City can operate under the Makati City government amid tensions between the contending parties embroiled in a jurisdiction issue, according to a law expert during a recorded video interview with The Manila Times.
University of the Philippines law professor Justice Rogelio Quevedo said there should be no legal confusion on the issue, as there have been certain precedents, and compared the situation where the city of Manila operates several organizations in other cities, such as the Manila Boys Town in Marikina City and the Manila South Cemetery in Makati City.
