HOT Wheels Philippines recently took the lead in hosting the Hot Wheels Legends: Philippine Tour in collaboration with Concept One Wheels and Toy Kingdom Philippines. This remarkable tour had a clear objective: to assemble a collection of ingeniously customized locally built cars and determine the standout contender that would proudly represent the country in the global semifinals of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour.
The most outstanding 10 finalists had the privilege of being showcased at the Mall of Asia-Main Mall Atrium from Aug. 21 to 27, 2023, offering fervent Hot Wheels aficionados and collectors an opportunity to relish and witness their remarkable creations. Among the notable Philippine finalists were a rugged Safari Rally 1974 Porsche 911; a striking RE Amemiya 1994 Mazda RX-7; a distinctive 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser LC70 Fire Truck; the unique 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 by Sam Luison; the robust 2017 Toyota Hilux; Banawe Boy's innovative Civic front-end-swapped 1998 Honda Orthia; the eye-catching 1988 Toyota Cressida by Buzzhype; the adventurous 2016 Toyota FJ Cruiser custom crawler; the futuristic 2022 SR Performance Batman Race custom crawler; and the timeless 1997 Toyota Hilux LN166.
