THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) reminded candidates in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) that they are only allowed to spend P5 per voter.

"More than P5 is vote buying. You might have escaped the ban on premature campaigning, but you could be disqualified for vote buying," Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said on Thursday.
