IN celebration of the first Davao Food and Wine Festival, the SM Hotels and Conventions Corp.'s Park Inn by Radisson Davao transformed Sunday brunch expectations with its Boozy Brunch, a feast that melded the culinary genius of acclaimed chefs with an array of specially crafted wines and cocktails.

Chef Jayme Natividad of Taal Vista Hotel masterfully crafted dishes such as carbonara with etag (smoked pork) and Gensan tuna niçoise. Chef Pauline Benedicto of Mr & Mrs B and Rekado Davao also brought forth the delectable smoked salmon croustades and tuna toastada. Meanwhile, Chef Garet, Davao's chef consultant and caterer, fascinated guests' taste buds with her rendition of beef Wellington bites with kangkong (water spinach) pesto.
